  • I am tired of people using the old wives tale of "I am allergic to smoke". Talk to any Dr and you will learn there is no such thing as an allergy to smoke. Smoke is not an allergen, thus you cannot be allergic to it. Do a little research and get your facts straight.

  • 20% unemployment says plenty about the current situation in Elkhart. I had lived in Elkhart for 37 years until the end of Febuary '09. At the end of 2008 the company my wife and I both worked for closed down and we found ourselves without jobs.

  • Peanut allergies. I think peanuts should be banned at all bars and restaraunts because many people that are allergic can have a very serious and sometimes fatal reaction with minor contact with peanuts. I guess because of this we should ban all peanuts.

  • You are not getting the point. The goverment is telling these bars how to run their business. In effect, telling them they cannot allow smoking in their privately owned business.

  • Lets look at this another way. Is it right for the government to force a business to do something? Example. As of tomorrow, ALL establishments that sell food MUST sell alcohol.
